An exhibit that depicts the Blue Heron’s nesting habits and the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge’s efforts to support them.

Utah Division of Wildlife asked for me to create a permanent installation depicting the Blue Heron’s nesting habits within the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. They wanted full scale sculpted Blue Herons of various ages mounted to a full scale nesting pole. It needed to be of highest quality craftsmanship and to engage children.

I sourced artists and suppliers for the production of the birds, nests, and pole. I also designed a few nests for kids to play in made from aluminum, rattan, and even gathered twigs.
